Sety, operated by Lumina Labs LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the Sety app ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account information: Your email address, username, and display name when you create an account.
• Profile photo: If you choose to upload one. You are solely responsible for any content you upload as a profile photo. You agree not to upload content that is illegal, explicit, or violates the rights of others. Violation of this may result in account termination.
• Workout data: Workout templates, completed workouts, personal records, body measurements, and exercise history that you log in the App.
• Social content: Partner requests you send or receive, workout templates and personal records you share with partners.

Information Collected Automatically

• Push notification token: A device token used to send you notifications. Stored only if you grant permission.
• Usage data: Basic information about how you interact with the App, used to improve the experience.

Information from Third Parties

• Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide and improve the App's features
• Enable workout partner connections and social features
• Send push notifications (only with your permission)
• Process premium subscription payments via RevenueCat
• Respond to support requests
• Ensure the security and integrity of the App

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

With Other Users

When you use the App, limited profile information — your display name, username, and profile photo — is visible to other authenticated Sety users. This includes users who search for you by username, as well as accepted workout partners. Your email address is never visible to other users under any circumstances.

With Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Google Firebase (Google LLC) — database, authentication, file storage, and app security
• RevenueCat — subscription management and payment processing
• Expo — push notification delivery

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and processes data only as necessary to provide their services.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sety, our users, or the public.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase, which employs industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through the App, your personal data — including your profile photo, profile information, workout history, username, and partner connections — is permanently deleted from our systems immediately upon deletion. This includes any files stored on our servers, such as your profile picture. Some data may be retained for a short period for legal or technical reasons, but profile photos are removed immediately upon account deletion.

If your account has been inactive for an extended period, we may contact you before taking any action on your account.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Delete your account and associated data (available directly in the App under Profile → Delete Account)
• Export your workout data (available to Sety Pro subscribers under Profile → Export)
• Correct inaccurate information by updating your profile

7. Children's Privacy

Sety is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Push Notifications

We send push notifications only if you grant permission. You can withdraw permission at any time through your device settings or within the App under Profile → Notifications. Revoking notification permission does not affect your ability to use the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
